So long, 2011.
Happy New Year!
It had its ups & downs but overall I’m sad to see 2011 end. Despite 1 month of bedrest, it was a good year for me.
Some highlights:
Shot my first wedding…
I spent Valentine’s Day with wonderful friends, delicious food & slightly embarrassing karaoke (at least my performance)…
Went to Ireland & had a blast, celebrated my cousin’s 21st birthday with way too much alcohol & dancing, realized I was afraid of cows…
Spent a wild weekend in the Hamptons celebrating Sarah’s birthday, with a surprise delivery from Australia…
Easter morning with my friends…
Had a great time shooting at the Coney Island Mermaid Parade & didn’t get spit on, which was a nice change from last year…
Witnessed the unions of several happy families in Central park…
Spent the eve of my 31st birthday listening to some good music with a new friend…
Watched my cousin run the ING NYC Marathon, got inspired to start running myself…
Hung out with this little dude in Coney Island…
Went on a long-overdue photo excursion with Erin…
And finally, my oldest friend went & made another gorgeous baby, little Jake Michael.
Now I’m off to run 4 miles in Central Park, drink champagne & welcome what I believe will be an even better year than this one. I’ve got big plans for this site; a re-vamping in the next couple of weeks, tons of shoots & projects planned, & I’m excited to share it all with you.
